How to get to Whistler

Basically there are 3 alternatives as follows:

1. You can rent a car at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and it is a beautiful drive up here (3 hours from the airport to Whistler; 2.25 hrs from downtown Vancouver to Whistler). Once you are here you will not need a car as nearly everything is within walking distance. However, there are some very nice sights within a 30-45 minute drive from here which would only be accessible by car. It should be noted that during January & February driving can be rather difficult as we live in the mountains.
   
   
2. We get a 10% discount on Limo service from Pacifica Limousine which we pass on to you. For $CDN 400 (including tax, tip and discount) a seven person stretch limo (or SUV if you prefer) will pick you up at the airport/hotel and drive you right to your accommodation in Whistler. We arrange for your pickup and you pay the Limo driver directly. This is a very civilized way to travel and a great way to start a vacation.
   
   
3. A bus (operated by Perimeter 604-266-5386) departs the Vancouver airport every hour for its direct route to Whistler. The cost is $CDN 70/person and it takes anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 hrs to reach the Whistler Loop. From there it is a $5-10 cab ride to your accommodation.

Transportation while in Whistler

You will definitely not need a car while you are here in Whistler. First, the village is pedestrian only. Secondly, everything is within a 10 minute walk from our condos. If you don't feel like walking, there is a free shuttle bus which operates every 7 minutes. The bus makes a loop around all of the village. Lastly, you can always call a taxi.
